Bathtubs, Wash-Basins and Ceramics … bearing the signature of Iosa Ghini
Teuco presents their new Kinea bathroom collection, created by Architect and Designer Massimo Iosa Ghini. Ever inspired by ethereal forms and flowing contours, Architect Iosa Ghini has created for Teuco the Kinea Bathroom Collection using the idea of the force of water to mould and smooth surfaces, creating soft, organic, embracing shapes, the result being a pure and harmonised collection to grace one of the most important rooms in the house.

Kinea represents a project in which design comes together with Teuco’s technological know-how to offer a combination of well-being, aesthetics and functionality all in accordance with one’s own personal tastes thanks to a wide range of solutions in terms of shapes, dimensions and types of installation.
From out of the linear, square formation of the bathtub rises a fluid and wave-effect rim, in a strikingly contrasting shape-juxtaposition. The curvy rim which is lower on the one side to ease getting into and out of the bathtub creates a sense of comfort whilst the combination of undulating lines and clean angles reflects the solid nature of the material yet light appearance of the design.

The Teuco Kinea bathtub is available in three different sizes to provide the utmost versatility in terms of space and comfort: 170x70cm, 170x75cm and 180x80cm. Equally versatile in terms of functions, the Kinea bathtub is available without whirlpool, with a Basic whirlpool, with super-silent Hydrosilence whirlpool and with Hydrosonic which combines a silent whirlpool with the beneficial action of ultrasound. An optional Cromoexperience facility enhances the bathing experience with a rainbow-lighting effect which creates a truly multi-sensorial experience.

This new Teuco collection also allows for a system of customised bath-panelling to facilitate seamless integration into any bathroom environment. In addition to an acrylic panel option, it is possible to choose panelling in either natural or synthetic wood in a choice of anthracite-oak, limed-oak or wenge finishes.
As well as a series of bathtubs, the Kinea bathroom collection offers matching wall-hung ceramics (wc and bidet) and a wash-basin which can be either wall-hung or counter-top mounted, in a bid to offer a completely coordinated and harmonised setting.

The Kinea project signals the first major collaboration between Massimo Iosa Ghini and Teuco and reinforces the company’s strategic approach as being the ideal marque to choose when creating one’s perfect bathroom.
