JDS Architects unveils Mini Stacked at the Stockholm Furniture Fair (SFF) 2012 currently being held in the snowy capital from the 7th until the 11th of February. Mini Stacked is the wall-mountable and scaled down little brother of Stacked. As its free standing brother, it allows to organically compose a custom shelving. Maria Ignacia Reina designed and developed a table for AG Land, an office furniture manufacturer based in Barcelona. Inspired by the Mac’s style, the project aims to make the furniture interacts with Apple devices. It has an entry for iPad, iPod or iPhone to charge the battery. Made of multi laminar wood lacquered with a glossy black finish, the table has also an integrated aluminum speaker. Coming with a Z-shaped profile, the table offers users the possibility to rest their comfortably.

Inspired by Steve Job’s style, Luisa Albino designs and creates Mac-Table for AG Land, a Spanish-based manufacturer. Designed as an office furniture, the Mac-Table challenges gravity. It features an entry for Apple devices including iPad, iPhone, or iPod. Regarding material, the designer chooses lacquered metal base, soft touch top board and glass in the middle. If you’re a part of Apple fan boys, I think you will bring this table into your working room at your home.

Small House in Sydney, Australia, designed by Domenic Alvaro, has won the ‘World’s Best House’ award at the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards 2011.
The presentation of the WAF Awards are taking place during the largest global celebration of architecture – the World Architecture Festival, which is being held at the Centre Convencions International Barcelona (CCIB) this week.
